Talbros Automotive Components is the flagship manufacturing venture of the Group was established in 1956 to manufacture Automotive & Industrial Gaskets in collaboration with Federal Mogul, USA, the world leaders in Automotive & Industrial Sealing products. Talbros is today, India's largest gasket manufacturer.

Recent technical tie-up with Nippon Leakless Corporation, Japan, has enabled Talbros to meet the needs of Japanese automobile manufacturers in India and the global markets.

Talbros are today, India's largest gasket manufacturer and are OE suppliers to almost all engine and vehicle manufacturers in India, including Trucks and Buses, Light Utility Vehicle, Passenger Cars, Tractors, Two Wheelers, industrial and Stationary Diesel Engines. Apart from being leaders in the Indian aftermarket with the largest distribution network of over 80 exclusive outlets and 8,500 dealers, Talbros gaskets are exported to over 25 countries around the world.

We at Talbros are proud of our quality systems, and in pursuit for excellence and continuous improvement have earned the TS-16949 certification as well as the ISO 14001 certification, over of the first few Indian automotive component manufacturers to do so.

We are also proud to state that we have recieved the Best Vendor Award from TATA Cummins Ltd twice, for 2001 - 2002 and recently for 2003-2004. TATA Cummins Ltd. manufactures the 6BT & 4BT engines for which we are the single source for head gaskets as well as gasket sets.

In keeping with its customer orientation, Talbros has established four manufacturing plants at various locations all over India.

These plants incorporate a battery of presses having a capacity range of 15 to 500 tons with sophisticated Sealing Technology and Surface Coating, supported by a state-of-art Tool Room Industrial Engineering and Quality Assurance wings. The Research and Development Center at Talbros is equipped with CNC dynamometer engine test beds and other test equipment capable of evaluating critical parameters of products and material.

A modern forging plant is being set up in Bawal (Haryana). This project will aim at optimum efficiencies by deploying hot forging processes. The plant will commence production from October 2006.
